What IPL failed to do for India

1.It would have boosted the ticket sales of airlines as teams move to different locations.
2.People would have spent some money in buying merchandise of teams.
3.Due to spending it could have triggered sales in stadiums giving rise to indirect employment to many people
Finally it would have been a mini stimulus package for the struggling Indian economy

Who will win this General Elections 2009

Hi all guys and gals in our country all opinion polls before and after elections are banned but we can see the opinion of people through the available widgets like this.So all kindly cast their votes

Ramification of IPL season 2 moving out of India

With IPL season 2 moving out of our soil to South Africa due to security concerns on the backdrop of forthcoming elections it has also raised some eyebrows to most of them wondering what are the consequences of this change.I believe the change in schedule and locations will bring cheer to some and loss to some, lets see what are they…………..
1.Last year most of the films released during this IPL season 1 bombed at box office due to poor response from general public.
2.Due to this multiplexes were severely affected as they decrease in footfalls and a steep fall in sales.
3.This year economic slowdown will definitely add owes to the struggling industry but due to change in venues will give some fresh air as most of the malls are located in places where plays were scheduled to happen.
4.The finances of franchises will surely take beating because they will lose revenue from ticket sales at their home places.
5.Further travel expenses will increase as more home players are involved due to strict adherence of only 4 foreign players are allowed to play.
6.Viewers have to stick glued in front of television sets as most don’t like this.
7.But its raining money for broadcasters as all people have to watch matches only through televisions sets.
8.Support from audience will be lacking for all teams as they all play in neutral venues.
9.India’s ability to host games will take beating as government has failed to provide foolproof security eventhough general elections is more important for a country than IPL.
10.Struggling teams will find difficult to breakeven even after this season 2.
11.As a country of more than 1 billion people it should be able to hold everything the people wanted without any security concern.
12.The most important thing is that due to transfer of tournament to a foreign country it provides an oppurtunity for some small brands such as aircel,DLF,India Cements to go global and better exposure to them in a global arena.

Whether the future of students at crossroads?????

The people who are most affected by economic downturn are the student community because 95% expected to get placed in lucrative sectors of IT and manufacturing sector. The downturn or recession didn’t left any sectors untouched. It seems all are chain effects as industries are all interlinked.Still even after passage of 10 months students with offer letters are yet to be called by their companies to join them.Students have invested a lot of money in paying fees and coaching centres.Their ROI now stands nil. They don’t know when their companies will call them and all are in the state of confusion and disappointment. There are reports that students are now defaulting their study loans which they have availed from banks. Moreover their life has come to standstill. Some have formed unions. The condition of employees are still worse as they don’t know when they will be issued pink slips.I think the concept of bench will soon disappear in the industry. The retail majors who jumped into organised retail bandwagon with promising lakhs of employment opportunities are in dizzy state and downsizing their workforce to reduce expenditure. For students like us who are passing out this year the life is going to be full of thorns and future looks bleak.

The New Economic crisis waiting to burst

After the mortage crisis that crippled American economy i anticipated that next crisis that appears to blow up is credit card as americans are used to spend a lot on borrowed money. With the economic crisis affecting across wide spectrum with companies resorting to massive job cuts which are in the scale which are never heard before, people will be tightening their expediture and they will default their payment to credit card agencies weakening already fragile finance sector were we saw government bailing out banks with taxpayers money.I’m happy because as i predicted some 8 months back is echoed by economic gurus such as Alan Greenspan and others.Carefull spending of money in needed as we see the no of billionaires is in decline as published by Forbes magazine with rich selling their castles, yatches due to tightening credit availability

For what aam admi will vote this general elections

With general elections round the corner and soon we can find some politicians re-entering their constituencies after a gap of 5 years.People will have to vote to right parties to avoid harassment and i think elections themselves are stimulus package because irrespective of parties spending on image building exercises through mass media will be more than last elections.Buying of votes will also be very much interesting as Thirumangalam assembly byelections is trendsetter for many parties as it demonstrated how to buy votes in an effective manner. Then coming to core issue on problems faced by common people(aam admi) in four southern states starting from my home state Tamilnadu are listed below
TAMIL NADU
1.The inevitable power crisis due to decade long lack of concentration on capacity addition and poor maintainance of power plants. The present government is very clever because they started load shedding in industries which was never heard before with less no of hours in homes. So they were able to manage the growing discontent among people.
2.Political outfits are trying to make people fools by taking Srilankan Tamils problem, there is no efforts from both sides and all talking just for nameshake
3.The deteriorating law and order  problem as the police are denied free hand to tackle these problems due to political interference. The perfect examples are recent clashes between police and lawyers, police keeping mum when there were clashes between law college students.
4.Polarisation of votes in the name of caste throughout the state.
5.Ministers acting as brokers for even a petty problem.
KERALA
1.Communalisation of entire state with from the state taking part in terrorist activites that are against the integrity of our country.
2.Corruption cases against the ruling communist government and the CPI(M) there is CPI(M) Inc because it is running companies right from theme parks to Television channels
3.It has become a fertile ground for terrorist training camps and other related activities.
4.The economy is in shambles due to reduced amount of money flowing from overseas keralites due to economic downturn.
5.The tourist industry should be looked after carefully from being affected by current economic conditions
6.The state is still unfriendly towards industrilisation.
KARNATAKA
1.The unrest between mining, agriculture and IT industry should be dealt with care as all three in under control of land mafia.
2.The image of the state took a beating due to attacks on women at pub in Mangaluru.
3.It also suffers from power crisis similiar to all states in south india.
4.The infrastructure in bad shape and it needs immediate attention as i’m very close to Bengaluru.
5.Government there is still struggling to keep their government floating as it has very slender majority in the assembly.
ANDHRA PRADESH
1.The Naxal problem needs to be crushed.
2.The massive fraud in SATYAM and its associate companies has dented the image of the state and Telugu people. All this happened due to closeness of the YSR and Raju’s
3.The fertile delta region of Krishna and Godavari needs to be protected from frequent flooding and crop loss.
4.Telangana region is still left underdeveloped by all successive governments.
