Railway Budget

As usual Mr.Lalu focussed his budget on his state and he produced ‘am admi’ budget reducing fares for passengers and freight.Eventhough he announced lot of new trains most of the trains he announced in previous years are still non starters eg. kovai- nagercoil.New railway lines including long pending Erode-Palani found a place but budgetary allocations are not known which will be miniscule one.

Nissan-Renault Assembly Plant

Eventhough Mahindra’s pulled out of the joint venture Nissan-Renault came forward with their promise to establish car assembly plant at Oragudam which again showcased the power of TamilNadu in auto industry.Again Nissan signed an MOU with Ashok Leyland for assembly of Trucks.

Microsoft and yahoo

Consolidation occuring everywhere in the world but software gaint feels threatened by Google ,it may end in healty compettition and benefit general public
